Our Next Event is November 7th & 8th! Get Tickets Here
This event is a celebration of friendship! For many of us, our friendships are some of our most formative, impactful relationships in our lives. Through the mixed media art of Catie Burrill and clips from “One Another”, a feature length documentary by Andrea Raby and Amber Love, we will explore themes of symbiosis, platonic intimacy, touch, and the evolution of our life's defining relationships over time.
This dinner draws from the food we cook for friends: familiar, generous, and meant to be shared. It’s a big pot that everyone can enjoy and making it is a shared task that everyone is a part of. The menu moves through small bites, bright vegetables, and warm dishes that invite conversation. Expect the depth of slow-cooked beans, the richness of lobster rice, and the brightness of citrus-cured fish. Each plate brings Spanish flavors with a touch of intimacy and play.
You’ll enjoy eight courses, including two desserts, with vegetarian substitutions available for most dishes.
Our wine journey begins with a crisp Spanish sparkling, followed by expressive whites and rosés, and deepens into three reds that carry the evening toward warmth and reflection. From fresh Verdejo and coastal Mencía to elegant Rioja reserva. A classic pairing style to enjoy the wines to the fullest, with some more generous pours.
Catie Burrill is a Chicago-based fiber artist whose work pulls from a decade of wayfaring across the country on Greyhound buses, circus trains, and nondescript cargo vans. Her process is rooted in stitchwork and assemblage, finding pebbles along Lake Michigan, costume shop remnants, bicycle inner tubes, ’90s eBay beads, leather purses, and other trinkets.
She holds a BFA in Fiber and Material Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, with exhibitions at Purple Window, Cherry Knot Curation, CSI Project Space, and Parlour & Ramp. Burrill has been an artist-in-residence at Chicago Art Department and Tofte Lake Center. In 2025, she was interviewed live on Lumpen Radio’s NoseyAF podcast and presented Madness and the Unromantic Road: A Non-Linear Artist Talk at the College Art Association Conference. Before fully committing to her art practice, Burrill worked as a professional chef for a 4-star hotel, a traveling circus, a Tuscan Italian farm, and Bread & Puppet Theatre Company.
“One Another” About the Film
As three of my loved ones confront the possible end of intimate friendships, One Another chronicles their efforts to find a way forward. Over multiple years, the film traces the ways that friendships support and shape us as they are broken, tested, and remade.
Sometimes it takes facing the potential end of something to know what is really at stake. Initially, this film started as an exploration of what I had experienced growing up—the life-saving nature of close friendships. But as we filmed and the world shifted around us, Lorri, Joe and Giorgia’s friendships were put to the test. It was as we wondered whether they would just bend or ultimately break that the most meaningful questions were asked. What roles do our friendships play in our survival? How can we sustainably pull together in the face of crumbling systems? What does it really mean to love each other?
The people in this film are my friends and family. How better to make a film about friendship than from friendship itself? The experiences of my mother Lorri and my friends Joe and Giorgia present complications to common beliefs about class, mental health, and community. And in these complications is an invitation for us all to think critically about the support we need to move forward.

Her producing credits also include the podcast Love is Not and Amber Love’s short documentary A Galaxy Sits in the Cracks. As a commercial producer, Andrea has worked as a story, line, and post producer for clients including Radical Media, Conde Nast, Ogilvy, Dentsu Creative and Left Hook Media.
