Vino Divino Presents: An Evening of Color, Art, Food, and Objects with host Enrique Velasco-Sánchez, and photographers Evan Sheehan, and Alex Wallbaum

Vino Divino brings you an exciting visual and tasting experience, where we will explore three whites, three reds, and three rosés. These will be paired with nine beautiful tasting courses that you will enjoy while surrounded by the incredibly colorful photography of local Chicago artists, Evan Sheehan, and Alex Wallbaum. Be inspired by the conversation, company, and artistry and gain a new appreciation for the power of art. Plus, you’ll leave the event feeling more confident the next time you find yourself in a photography exhibit

What’s On The Menu This Time:

We’ve curated a menu of nine wines and nine food pairings. The menu is a playful, colorful exploration of how much of an effect different foods can have on different wines. Enrique Velasco-Sanchez will lead you through your food and wine journey where you will learn how to get the best possible flavor from many different types of wine. We will feature:

  • 3 meat-based options
  • 4 vegan options
  • 2 vegetarian options

Our main course will be a paella made from scratch. There will be plenty of food to go around so don’t worry about eating before arriving!

What You’ll Learn:

At this event, we will be diving deep into exploring the different colors of light. The focus will be on the characteristics of each color.

You will also leave with a personalized worksheet to help you document your preferences for future adventures.

About the Art:

Our event will feature work from Evan Sheehan, and Alex Wallbaum. Both Evan and Alex are photographers who focus on exploring the relationship of color and object through the creation of visually stunning still lifes. They both create larger than life images that leave the viewer both absolutely shocked, and gleefully amused. Their work often focuses on food, making them the perfect artists for this event! The two also co-founded Breakfast for Dinner, a creative production studio. Come hear the artists speak about their process and work and leave with your next conversation piece to display in your own space.

VinoDivino After Dark:

The tasting will eventually come to a close, but your evening won’t have to! Join us for music, and more fun immediately following the tasting. We will pick up the pace of your evening while you’re free to hang around with the new friends you made throughout the evening.

We can’t wait to see you soon!
